Quotations
The quotations below represent the opinions of respondents to the firm survey. These individuals are unrelated to InsideArch. Their opinions are based on their individual experiences and in no way reflect or represent the views of InsideArch or its employees. Other opinions, including contrary opinions, may exist."I've learned that there is no advancement here. As for the pay it's very low pay and if you ask the boss for a raise, He will put you off and not give you a raise. The flow of information of the project activities are super limited to the boss only. Only time you find out anything is when the boss comes to you to put out a fire. Usually the boss doesn't let you know anything until he needed something done days ago and the client is hounding him. The firm doesn't put health insurance deduction on your PAY STUBS! So he can tell you that the insurance went up without ANY proof that has and been deducted. Just not good to deal with this firm."
"Basically 90% of all projects come from a big construction company called P.J. Hoerr. If it wasn't for them I believe it would be tough to pay the bills. The attitude towards the work, is gradually get it done."
"This firm DOESN’T take active role in developing employees. Just developing money in the boss’s pocket where it stays. Don' t expect advancement, raises, etc. STAY AWAY."
"Most associates are nice to work with, with an exception of a few that tend to push their weight around. Really depends on the day. All are talented in their own unique ways."
"The only energy that people get is when it's time to leave the office. Other than that it's like dead people dreading the day."
"The principal /architect needs not to be a control freak. He needs to let the so-called project managers take the ships wheel every once in awhile. He needs to be more of a leader of the pack and not the lone ranger. He also needs to be a go-getter, and get more projects, instead of sleeping in his chair during work hours in his big office. As for the interns he needs to help interns and develop them. Instead of pushing them in the corner doing the same old stuff. Maybe a little more involvement with the company’s staff. And maybe show an ounce of TRUELY caring to the people around him."
